Kings and Queens Night
Parents, take the night off while kids have fun at our Kings and Queens-themed event!
When: Saturday, May 30th 2026, 5:45pm - 8:45pm
Where: Buffalo Chess Association, 6043 Transit Rd, East Amherst NY
For Ages: 5-12
Cost: $45 per attendee if registered before 5/28/2026
$50 per attendee on or after 5/28/2026
Registration closes after 5/29/2026
At this three-hour chess-themed event, kids will:
-Make their own wearable crown out of crafting materials.
-Participate in two chess lessons to improve their understanding of using the King and Queen in chess.
-Play chess games to reinforce these ideas, with instructor guidance.
-Have a royal pizza feast!
Beginners are welcome, but a basic knowledge of how the chess pieces move is required.
Craft supplies and pizza will be provided to all participants.
